Sabz mausam mein mujhey sard hawa di usne

Pehley ik lamhey ki zanjeer se baandha mujhko
Aur phir wakt ki raftar bhara di usne

Janta tha ke mujhe mowt sakoon bakhshey gi
Wo sitamgar tha so jeene ki dua di usne

Uske honey se theen sansein meri dugni
'Sagar' wo jo bichra to meri umr ghata di usne
