Tu misar k aaina khany main

Tere khud-o-khal k siva mujhay

Kahein aor na kuch dikhai day

Ye azab-e-tooq o rasn mera

Kisi qisar-e-khawb o khayal tak

Mere zehan ko na rasaai day

Mujhay raasta na sujhaai day

Tu ye chhat ju apny siroon pe hai

Ye ju baam o dar k hisaar hain

Ye ju ratjagoon ki bahaar hai

Ye ju qurbatoon ka khumaar hai

Tu issi pe kia shab-e-umar ki sab rahatoon ka midair hai

Mere ajnabi mere ashna

K dhoaan dhoaan si ju hai fiza

Ye thami thami si hai ju hawa

Ye ju shoor hai dil-e-zaar ka

Kbi iss pe ghoor kia hai kia?

Mere ajnabi mere asna

Kbi kash mein tujh se keh sakoon

K ye saahatain hain kathan buhat

Mer zakham-e-jaan k tabeeb aa

Mere tan badan se bhe rabt rakh

Meri rooh k bhe qareeb aa

Mere ajnabi mere ashna
