chhoona chaahay har ehsaas is rooh ka
raah e pur khaar main dena chaahay saath hamara
taraashey is sang dil ko aur banaye isse heera

ay dil e nadaan hai kia yeh maajraa
hay wo pagal ya kuch behka saa
janta hai wo bhala k rasta hai mushkil bara
marta hai jisme wajud lamha ba lamha

kahay dil humain karne dey use karna jo wo hai chahta
kahay dil k hai wo anmol nayab falak ka zara
kahay dil hun main pathar mila na koi sang taraash ab talak
kahay dil ay bekhabar imtehaan hai yeh mushkil bara
kahay dil tarapne de usse garmi e zard sehraa mai
kahay dil hone de usse khun e jigar se shinaasa
hai kia is dil ka mol hone se use ashnaa
