may shikasta ho chuka, ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi

Tujh ko ranai pay teri naz hay, tu khud ko smjhay paikar e wafa
may to gada tha rastay ka, ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi

Dil mera roz larta hay mujh say, tu rah e wafa ko samajhta nahi
hosh mera thak har k bolay, ab aur zakhm shnay ki himmat nahi

hai dunya may siwa ishq kay bhi maslay hazarha aur may tanha
ansu hmay rula kay bolain, ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi

chalo diyar-e-yar say ab kooch karain, faryad na sunay hamari
shehre na pusrsan chor de, ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi

sang e marmar ko niklay thay tarashnay khud ay baad e naseem
Ro ro kay raat guzaari hay, ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi

mujh ko bakhsh de meray dil ka karrar, wo raton ki neend meri
subhe wasl ko nazdeek kar, ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi

Sahil nazar aayay hay na kinara koi, may kidhar jaun hawaon
mujh ko mushkil hay pari , ab aur zakhm sehnay ki himmat nahi
