Aaj phir yaad-e-watan tu nay rulaayaa hai mujhe
Des ki yaad nay pardesi banaayaa hai mujhe,

dost gheray rehtay thay sadaa mujhko
pardes nay lafz “tanhaayee” sikhaya hai mujhe,

Gardish-e-ayyaam nay pardes dikhaya hai mujhe
Aj phir yaad-e-watan tu nay rulaayaa hai mujhe,

koi chehra jo shanaasa yahaan miljata hai
chaand meri weraan see in aankhoo mai utar ata hai,

aisa lagta hai meri dharti nay bulaayaa hai mujhe
Aj phir yaad-e-watan tu nay rulaayaa hai mujhe,

aj bhi pairo say lipptee hai watan ki mittee
yeh mere jism yeh mere chaman ki mittee

jab watan se koi sms ya email mere naam ata hai
Dil mera baagh baagh hojata hai,

ek ek harff chamakta hai sitara ban ker
dilaasay deta hai iss dil ko sahara ban ker,

aisa lagta hai ke milnay koi aayaa hai mujhe
Aj phir yaad-e-watan tu nay rulaayaa hai mujhe,

aj yaado mein ghiraa soch raha hoon
tanhaayee nay kiss qadar sataayaa hai mujhe,

raas ayengi mujhey karachi ki fazaaien kiss din
hongi qubool mere dil ki duaaein kiss din,

inn sawaalaat ke sho’lo nay jalaayaa hai mujhe
Aj phir yaad-e-watan tu nay rulaayaa hai mujhe………….




~ "Naa aankh namm hai, naa chehray pe karb kay aasaar
Main aaj roya hun pehli baar, iss saleeqay say.........."

"zikr-e-aghyaar say hua maaloom,
harf-e-naasih buraa nahi hotaa...."

thx for the suggestion, am seriously pondering over the matter these days.... sabar kaa paimaanaa labraiz hua jaataa hai.....

AZAADI KA CHEHRA
jis kaum ne azaadi ka chehra nahin dekha
us kaum ne shab dekhi, sawera nahin dekha

is shehr-e-hawadis ka ajab haal hua hia
jis shehr mein hansta hua koi bacha nahin dekha

dehkaan to martay hain har ik roz jahan mein
jo bhook se mar jai, wadera nahin dekha

mein man'ne wala tha Muhammad(SAW) ka jahan mein
kaatil ne mere naam ka shajra nahin dekha

yun to muje is sher mein sab apne lagay hain
par mene yahan koi bhi apna nahin dekha

jisdin se Iqbal ke sab khaab hain bikhray
uswakt se mene koi sapnaa nahin dekha

thanku everyone. this poem was from my diary. it's heart wrenching and sad and so true. but hope and faith should never b lost.

khudi mein duub, zamanay se na-umeed na ho
keh iska zakham hai darparda ehtama-e-rafu
rahega tu he jahan mein yagana o' yakta
utar gaya jo tere dil mein "la shareeka lahu"
