Sab se chup kar wo kisi ka dekhna acha laga

Surmaee aankho k neechay phool sey khilnay lagay
kehtay kehtay kuch kisi ka soochna acha laga

Baat to kuch bhi nahi thi laiken us ka aik dumm
Haath ko honton pe rakh kar rokna acha laga

Chaaye mein cheeni milana uss ghari bhaaya bohat
zair-e-lab woh muskurata "Shukriya" acha laga

Dil mein kitnay ehd baandhay thay bhulanay k usay
woh mila toh sab iraaday torhna acha laga

Bay iraada lamas ki wo sansani pyari lagi
kam tawaja aankh ka wo dekhna acha laga

Neem shab ki khamoshi mein bhatakti sadkon pe kal
teri yaadon kay jalo mein ghoomna acha laga

Iss ado-e-jaan ko Amjad mein bura kaisay kahon
jab bhi aaya saamnay woh Bay wafa acha laga
