Khud main gum rehna tu aadat hai puranii mere

Bheer main bhi tumhain mil gyon ga aasanii see
Khoya khoya howa rehna hai nishani mere

Main ne ik baar kaha tah keh bhut piyasa hoon
Tub se mashoor howii tishna dahanii mere

Yahi dewwar-o-daro baam the mere hamraaz
Inhii galyoon main bhataktiii the jawanii mere

Tu bhii iss shair ka baasi hai tu dil se lag ga
Tujh se wabasta hai eik yaad puraanii mere

Karbala dasht-e-mohabbat KO bana rakha hai
Kiya ghazal goye hai kiya merseya khani mere

Dhemay lehjay k sukhnwr hon Na sahbaa hoon Na josh
Main kahan aur kahan shoola beyaanii mere
