Subha Hotey he tere Shehar Se Jana Hai Mujhe,

Apni ankhon k sabhi ashk baha kar sona,
Tum meri yaad ka har deep jala kar sona...

Ik sitara b mere khayal ka baqi na rahe,
Chandi shab ki, nishanaat mita kar sona...

Dar lagta hai k yeh neend kahin cheen na ley,
Tera har roz mere khawabon main aa kar sona...

Baad main log gira dain to koi baat nahi,
Har taraf pyar ki deewar utha kar sona...

Subha hotey he tere shehar se jana hai mujhe,
Aaj ki raat zara mujh ko mana kar sona...
