Do din ki zindagi ka maza hum se poochhiye

Bhoole haiN rafta rafta unhaiN mudattoN meiN ham
QistooN maiN Khudkushi ka maza hum se poochhiye

Aaghaaz-e-aashiqi ka maza aap jaaniye
Anjaam-e-aashiqi ka maza hum se poochhiye

Jalte diyoN maiN jalte gharoN jesi lau kahaaN
Sarkar roshni ka maza hum se poochhiye

Woh jaan hi gaye ke hameiN un se piyaar hai
AaNkhoN ki muKhbari ka maza hum se poochhiye

Hansne ka shoq ham ko bhi tha aap ki tarha
Hansiye magar hansi ka maza hum se poochhiye

Hum tauba kar ke mar gaye beymaut aye "Khumar"
Tauheen-e-mai'kashi ka maza hum se poochhiye
