go zara si baat par barsoon k yaranay gaye
lakin itna tu hua kuch loog pehchanay gaye

main issay shohrat kahoon ya apni ruswai kahoon
muj say pehlay, uss gali main maray afsanay gaye

yoon tu woh, meri rag-e -jaan say bhi thay nazdek tar
ansoon ki dund main lakin jo na pehchanay gaye

wehshaten kuch iss trah apna muqader ho gayen
ham jahan pohnchay hamaray saath veeranay ho gaye

ab bhi un yadoon ki khusboo zahan main mehfooz hay
baraha ham jin say gulzaroon ko mehkanay lagay

kaya qayamat hay k KHATIR kashta-e-shab bhi thay ham
subah bhi aye tu mujrim ham hi gerdanay gaye

teri yaadoon se kia nahin seekha

zab ka hosla barha lena
aansoon ka kahin chupa lena

kaapti dolti sadaaoon ko chupki chaadarsedhaanp kar rakhna
besabbab bhi kabhi kabhi hansna

jab bhi ho baat koyyi talkhi ki
muzoo-e-guftugu badal dena

besabbab to na theen teri yaadien
teri yaadoon se kia nahin seekha
