jhaank ker daikha galli main koiee bhee aya na tha



(aaj us nain derd bhee apnain alehda ker laey
ajj main royya tu meray saath woh roya na tha)


yeah subhee veeraniyaan us key judda honain sey thein
ankh dhundlaee houee thee sheher dhundlaya na tha


yaad kerkey aur bhee taqleef hotee thee Adeem
bhool janain key siva ab koiee bhee chara na tha

wohi shokhian wohi tazgi tary baad bhi
wohi jagna raat dare tak teray baad bhi
wohi shughl-e-jaan wohi dill lagi tere baad bhi
wohi khushboan ko bakhar dena fizaon main
wohi musamon ko talashna maray ajnabi teray baad bhi
yeh na souchna mujay chah- guzeeda bana gai teri berukhi
wohi shook hain mere aaj bhe tere baad bhe

main aiyna tha, woh maira khayal rakhti thi
main toot-ta tha to chun kar sambhal rakhti thi

har aik maslay ka hal nikal rakhti thi
zaheen thi, mujhay hairat main daal rakhti thi

main jab bhi tark-e-taluq ki baat karta tha
woh rokti thi mujhay, kal pay taal rakhti thi

bas aik woh thi jisay khabon main dikhata tha
bas aik woh thi keh jo andmal rakhti thi

woh mairay dard ko chunnti thi apni pooron say
woh mairay wastay khud ko nidhal rakhti thi


duain us ki balaon ko rook laiti thin
woh mairay chaar soo hathon ki dhaal rakhti thi

ik aisi dhun kay nahi phir kabhi main nay suni
woh munfarid sa hansi main kamal rakhti thi

usay nadamatain mairi kahan gawara thin
woh mairay wastay asaan sawal rakhti thi

bichar kay uss say main dunya ki thokaron main hon
woh pass thi tau mujhay lazawaal rakhti thi

sir-e-tor ho sir-e-hashr ho, hamin intezaar kabool hai
wo kabhi milain , wo kahin milain,wo kabhi sahi ,wo kahin sahi;

na ho un pay jo mera bus sahi, k ye aashki hai hawis nahi.
mai unhi ka tha,mai unhi ka hoo,wo meray nahi to nahi sahi

usy daikhny ki jo lo lagi ,tonaseer daikh hi lain gay hum,
wo hazaar aankh se door hoo, wo hazaar parda nasheen sahi
