Ek shakhs ko samjha tha
Phoolon ki tarha Ham'ny

Wo shakhs qiyamat tha
Kia uski karein Batein

Din us ky liye Paida
R uski he thi Ratein

Kam milta kis se tha
Ham se thi mulaqatein

Rang uska Shahabi tha
Zulfon mein thi Mehkarein

Aankhein thi k jadu tha
Palkein thi k talwarein

dushman bi agar deakhy
so jan se dil Harein

Kuch tum se wo milta tha
Baton mein shahabat thi

Han tum sa hi lagta tha
Shoki mein shararat mein

Lagta bi tumhe sa tha
Dastur-e-muhabat mein

Wo shakhs hamein eik din

Apno ki tarha Bhoola
Taron ki tarha dooba
Phoolon ki tarha toota

Phir haath na aya wo
Ham'ny bohat dhondha

Tum kis liye chonky ho
Kab zikr tumhar hai
Kab tum se takaza hai
Kab tum se shikayat hai

Eik taaza Hiqayat hai
Sun lo to eenayat hai
