Ham Mahazon pe na bikte to sikandar hotay,

khud'farebi k kharabon mein rahay ham warna,
Apni auqat mein rehtay to Qalandar hotay,

Mauj-e-Kausar ki qasm ham thay Mohabaton k Wali
Khaak kay dar pay na jhuktay to Samandar hotay,

Aankh ne khawab k lalach mein khayanat kar li,
warna ham jaagti aankhon k payambar hotay.
