Suna hy ab to Eidain bhi wo pehli si nhi krtay

Kisi k ghar nhi jatay,

Kisi sy bhi nhi miltay,

Kisi ki aik nhi suntay,

Kisi sy kuch nhi kehtay,

Na koi gift letay ho,

Na koi gift detay ho,

Kabhi khul kr na hanstay ho,

Kbhi khul kr na rotay ho,

Bohat beqarar, bohat udas, bohat bechain hotay ho,

Suna hy Chaand raatoon mein bohat be-noor dikhtay ho,

Wo kaghaz pharr detay ho,

Kisi k wastay jin pr,

Bohat sy shair likhtay ho,

Na jeetay ho, na martay ho,

Kaho kesay guzarti hy tumhari zindagi Pagal...
