مت خدا ڈھونڈ سوالات کے آئینے میں
اسکو پہچان عنایات کے آئینے میں

مائل حق بھی ہے ,عاصی بھی, انا والا بھی
وہ جو رہتا ہے میری ذات کے آئینے میں

قرب شببیر ہے کیا رے کی حکومت کیا ہے
حر نے سب دیکھ لیا رات کے آئینے میں

[About third sher, the background:
On 9th of Muharram,one of the most imp. defections of the human history took place in 61st hijri. Defection to sure death. Hur-e bin Reyahi ,an officer in the fauj-e Sham, defected to Imam Husain`s side. He is on record having said that shab-e ashoor he was in a dilemma whether to accept the ownership of the "Land of Ray" or to side with Imam Husain.]
