نشانِ عظمتِ آدم
ہمارے قائدِ اعظم
انھی کی کوششوں سے ارضِ پاکستان کا نقشہ
نمایاں ہو گیا دنیا کے کینوس پر
نمود و نو کی صورت میں
انھی کی سعی پیہم سے
دلوں کی دھڑکنوں میں ڈھل گئی یہ ارضِ پاکیزہ
وطن سب سے بڑی سچائی بن کر سامنے آیا
انھی کے دم سے
اپنے شاعرِمشرق کے خوابوں کو ملی تعبیر
وطن کا لفظ لوحِ روح پر ہونے لگا تحریر
انھوں نے چاندنی بن کر
شبِ تاریک و تیرہ میں اجالوں کی طرح ڈالی
وطن کے ذرے ذرے کو مہ و خورشید میں ڈھالا
وطن کا بچہ بچہ یک زباں ہو کر
یہ کہتا ہے دمادم
نشانِ عظمتِ آدم
ہمارے قائدِاعظم
