تیرا ہجر تیرا وصال بھی
تیرے خواب تیرے خیال
میری تشنگی نہ بُجھا سکے
تیری یاد کو نہ مِٹا سکے
میں یہ سوچتا ہوں کبھی کبھی
تیرے ہجر میں میری زندگی
نہ ہی رنگ ہے، نہ ہی روپ ہے
نہ یہ چھاؤں ہے، نہ ہی دھوپ ہے
نہ خوشی ہے نہ ہی ملال ہے
یہ بس اک تشنہ سوال ہے
وہ رفاقتوں کے سفر سبھی
میری گفتگو کے ہنر سبھی
تیرے ہجر کے جو نذر ہوئے
سبھی خواب گردِ سفر ہوئے
وہ جو خواب تھے وہ گزر گئے
جو ملا ہے یہی نصیب ہے
تیرا ساتھ تو کہیں کھو گیا
تیرا ہجر میرے قریب ہے
تیرے ہجر کا یہ ہر اک پل
میری عمر بھر کا حصول ہے
میری بے بسی کا تو غم نہ کر
تیرا ہجر مجھ کو قبول ہے
