qafas udaas hai yaro saba sey kuch tu kaho
kahein tu beher e KHUDA zikar e yaar chaley

kabhee tu subah teray kunj e lub sey ho aaghaaz
kabhee tu shab sarkaka kal sey muskbaar chaley

bara hai derd ka rishta yeh dil ghareeb sahee
tumharey naam pey aaein gey ghumgusaar chaley

jo hum pey guzree so guzree magar shab e hijraan
humarey aashk teree aaqebut sunwaar chaley

hazoor e yaar houvee dafter e janoun kee talub
gerha main ley key gerabaan ka taar taar chaley
