dil ki dharkan hai khayaloon maiN merey rehta hai
koun hai wo jo sawaaloon main merey rehta hai

jisko dekha na kabi us sey wafa karta hooN
dil ke aainey mai maiN us se mila karta hooN

maiN nahi janta ye kis ki talab hai mujhko
kis ka armaaN iraadoN maiN merey rehta hai

khawaab hai wo mera taabeer dilaouN kesey
apni hasrat ko maiN taqdeer bana'ooN kaisey

mujh ko milta hai sakoon uska tassawar karke
wo ishara jo isharooN maiN merey rehta hai

kis ki tareef maiN likhi ye ghazal kiya janoo
kis ko kehta hooN mohabat ka kanwal kiya janoo

maiN tu bas aik hi umeed maiN rahta hoon sada
us ko dekhoon jo nazrooN maiN merey rehta ha
