log rukhsat huye kab yad nahi

dil main har waqt chubhan rahti thi
thi mujhe kis ki talab yad nahi

wo sitara thi k shabnam thi k phul
ik surat thi ajab yad nahi

aisa uljha hun gam-e-duniya main
ek bhi khwab-e-tarab yad nahi

bhulte jate hain mazi k dayar
yad ayen bhi to sab yad nahi

ye haqiqat hai k ahbab ko ham
yad hi kab the k ab yad nahi

yad hai sair-e-charagan "Nasir"
di k bujhne ka sabab yad nahi.......
