گھر سے چلا تو گھر کی اداسی سسک اٹھی
میں نے اسے بھی رکھ لیا رخت _ سفر کے بیچ
دشمن سے کیا بچائيں گي یہ جھاڑیاں تجھے
بچتے نہیں یہاں تو پیمبر شجر کے بیچ
اترا لحد میں خواہشوں کے ساتھ آدمی
ڈوبی مسافروں بھری کشتی بھنور کے بیچ
دیتے ہو دستکیں یہاں سر پھوڑتے ہو واں
کچھ فرق تو روا رکھو دیوار و در کے بیچ
تھکنے کے ہم نہيں تھے مگر اب کے یوں ہوا
دیتا رہا فریب ستارہ سفر کے بیچ
جتنا اڑا میں اتنا الجھتا چلا گيا
اک تار _ کم نما تھا مرے بال و پر کے بیچ
میرا سبھی کے ساتھ روّیہ ہے ایک سا
شاہد مجھے تمیز نہیں خیر و شر کے بیچ
