Agar jumbish labon ko di
Tasalsul toot jayega

Hawa se pattiyan sargoshiyon me mahaw hain
Aur jhumti shakhon ke jhoolon main
Parindon ki chahak se sara sahil
Sarmadi ahsaas me dooba hua
Sarshaar o shaadan hai
Agar kankar bhi sath-e-aab par mara
Tasalsul toot jayega

Ufaq me doobte suraj ka manzar
Is bulandi se zara dekho
Isi rangeen kinare par
Shafaq sona lutayegi
Yunhi tum behis-o saakit raho
Aise me palak bhi zara jhapki
Tasalsul toot jayega

Woh khwabidah hai khwabidah hi rahne do
Na jaane khwab me kin waadiyon ki sair karti ho
Bulandi se phisalte aabsharon me kahin gum ho
Falak -asaar choti par kahin mah'way tarannum ho
Agar aawaz di tum ne
Tasalsul toot jayega

Main shaayer hoon
Meri fikr-e-rasaa ehsas ke us satah par hai
Jismen khushboo rang bharti hai
Sada ko shakl milti hai
Tasawwur bol uthta hai
Khamoshi gungunati hai
Yeh woh waqfa hai ....aise mein
Agar daade sukhan bhi di
Tasalsul toot jayega......!!!
