Ramooz-e-Maslehat ko Zehn per tari nahi karta,
Zameer-e-Aadmiyat se mein Ghaddari nahi karta,

Qalam Shaakh-e-Sadaqat hay, Zuban Barg-e-Amanat hay,
Jo dil mein hay wo kehta hun, Adakari nahi karta,

Mein aakhir aadmi hun, koi laghzish ho hi jati hay,
Magar ik wasf hay mujh mein, Dil aazari nahi karta,

Mein daaman-e-nazar mein kis lye sara Chaman bhar lun?
Mera Zoq-e-Tamasha Bar'bardari nahi karta,

Makafat-e-Amal khud raasta tajveez karti hay,
Khuda Qomon pe apna Faisla jari nahi karta,

Mein husn ki aayina'dari khub karta hun,
Magar mein husn ki aayina'bardari nahi karta.
