Judai dene wale tum se umeed-e-wafa kaisi
ta'aluq toot jaye jab
mohabbat rooth jaye jab
to phir rasm-e-dua kaisi
milan ki ilteja kaisi
bhanwar mein dolti kashtii pe saahil ki tamanna kya
ukhartay saans houn to zindagi ki arzoo bhi kya
jo manzil kho chuki ho uss ki phir se justuju bhi kyun
magar dil ne tumhein kis wastay se yaad rakha hai
tumhein kyun shairii mein aaj takk aabaad rakha hai
abhi tak main ne kyun khud ko buhut barbaad rakha hai
hawa k dosh per kyun nagma-e-faryaad rakha hai
judaii dene wale aashnaii ki qasam tum ko
tumhari bewafai, kaj-adaai ki qasam tum ko
mujhe itna bata dena
wafa ki chahton ki mash'alein kaise bhujate hain
nishaan kaise mitaate hain
bhulana ho jinhein unn ko bhala kaise bhulatay hain ... !!
