what happened to Forum

what happendto forum,once it was very active.

Old members were dedicated and concerned. New members do not like/want to share notes and tips. The post FAQs, get answers and leave.

Quantity is increased, while quality decreased.

This forum was like a magnet for CSS aspirants once. Although members stil feel emotional attachment with it but i think some reforms are needed. Quality input, old and dedicated members and those who follow the rules etc must be appreciated in a good way. Guest appearances should be discouraged while membership of those who are inactive for long time should be suspended.

approximately 2 years back forum was a place of intellectuals and talented members like: :Last Island, Amna and others. I do not remember exact ids but it was some thing like veteran, Rab nawaz etc.
But now a days forum is just a place of job advertisement and queries like :when syllabus will be updated and perks and privileges of jobs. And more surprisingly to see same queries time and again in one post.
Some times ago it was a place of knowledge sharing but now a days a place of job finding but it will be injustice to not appreciate some members like Jolie Dame who even after clearing CSS exam is helping new aspirants.
Sorry to say this i have observed that work of mods is only limited to point out netspeak in posts.

Actually other forums on Facebook have taken aspirant's attention. New generation is instant reply addicted. No one likes to wait for days to get a reply for his or her queries.

I, too, remain absent for weeks. I will try to manage my routine to take some time out for forum.

You may disagree withe me but i feel, lately behaviour of Mods has been haughty and hostile due to which many senior members refrain from participating

I agree with you brother, burger forum bn gaya haii yeh na karo woh na karo varna ban ho jae ga result kee baat na karo ban ho jae ga.

Yes I do disagree because 4 years ago we mods were hell strict and hostile and we had gems here participating and helping others. We are too lenient now and just look at the forum. How shabby and jumbled it looks.

If you read the rules for once and abide by them, you will never have us writing to you "yeh na karo, wo na karo, ban ho jao gay" kind of things. Where there are rules, there are people to make others follow them.
