Whatsapp vs CSS forum

CSSFORUM is a platform to share info to everyone without any limitation. But now this trend has changed. Candidates who qualify some stage make a Whatsapp group and disappear from the forum. So the new candidates and other people left with lack of info. A lot of people check cssforum every hour to have some updates but they find nthing. They (including myself) feel utter disappointment once they become aware that their sort of news is overly being discussed on Whatsapp group of which they have no access.
So I request everyone especially moderators to look into this matter and help the members.

IMO, your concerns are right to extent but what forum administration can do in this regard? To join any other group or platform or not, is based on free will of members. I am not part of any whatsapp group and not intended to be, because the utility of this valuable platform is far better and satisfactory than any whatsapp group or any other platform. For me, to share or help here is like sharing and helping the whole community instead of few, which is essence of the noble concept.

However, to say that any member who joined whatsapp group is not intended to share or help the other members of the forum would be injustice to those who are actively helping and updating the community on both platforms. If there is silence in any particular thread then it necessarily doesn’t means that they are unwilling to update rather may be there is no authentic update to share. Besides, forum rules cannot allow chit chat or useless posts whereas whatsapp group is proper platform for such people.

P.S: I am indebted to cssforum and the respected members for many things. My post is not intended to disrespect anyone. It is my personal opinion and any debate over the issue is undesirable.

The fact of my life is that when I joined it, I never looked for any other community for taking help of CSS. Before joining it, I used to use a few facebook groups and later figured out that they were of no use, and since then I have been using this forum.

To put ban on Whatsapp thru this forum is to ban freedom of expression and right to information.

to say that nothing shown up in CSS forum threads only due to whats app is injustice. we can not ban any thing just because of Qualitative assumption .

Since we cannot stop anyone from using any other app or community, i tried to convince some people in whatsapp group of aatco to use cssforum and few said to copy it here but none wanted to leave that free chat mode groups
