How do the veterans compare last AD test to this one in terms of difficulty and marks?

Yes 17 grade position in NAB is definitely better than that. In govt service grade matters a lot. If some one is already working as a 17 grade officer and has some experience in that position, I would not advice that person to join NAB. As it is not like a typical law enforcement agency. there are lot of checks and restrictions on junior officers.

You would definitely have an edge on other candidates as you are from FATA. But there is no surety of selection as I already wrote in me previous post, psychometric test is a screening test. And it may even lead to the disqualification of a topper. Still prepare for the test and good luck !

test score matters a lot in overall selection as ultimate seniority of successful candidates would be based on final merit list. Interview has a very little impact on over all merit position because shortlisted candidates would have a very small interview of 10 to 15 minutes. That's why nts score is the key to final selection. usually 5 candidates are called for one seat because of the instructions of establishment division. otherwise there is no logic behind calling such a huge number of candidates for few seats.

Best regards,

psychometric test is a screening tool. This type of test is used to assess the attitude of a person. What we usually do is that we try to be honest and expose our faults such as anger, one track mentality and poor interpersonal skills etc. What you need to do is to keep consistency in different type of questions that are designed to gauge a particular variable such as honesty or emotions.
try to spot questions are are checking a particular attribute and try to be as positive as possible. it would be a written test based objective as well as few subjective questions such as paragraph writing, sentence making etc.
I hope that would be helpful

Thanks .. Appreciate it... Who would conduct this test ? NTS or NAB itself? And as u mentioned that 5 people are called for each seat and NTS marks are really significant.. So I think my 72 won't make much difference... What u think .. ?

I am afraid you are right.
Test is conducted by NTS. Nab participates in the recruitment process only in interview phase.
