Posting order ,if not know , means that you are given an office name where you will work. Cannot say of jobs which require training like Sihala. meaning that might be provided after training.

The only thing the officer person to which I report said that I should wait for Medical certificate. (it may take more than 7 days as it was for gazetted .)
So lets us be sure That whether AD and DAD posts are gazetted or non-gazetted. as it takes more time for gazetted medical.

So kiya koi ye bata sakta hai ya maloom kara sakta hai k Interview and selection k baad jo medical hoga ,wo gazetted hoga ya non-gazetted.
Also will Nab job be called a government job or semi one.

ek aur baat , ham medical certificate ki waja se thora time la sakte hain , like if we need to give 15 days etc notice to our current jobs ,
magar obviously zyada nai.
Wake up and listen to yourself!

My friend recieved a letter from Nab Hq and they have asked him to submit NOC from govt organization in which he is currently serving within a week, failing to which they will cancel his candidature to attend interviews. He was shortlisted for dad post. Although he had already sent his noc previously but may be nts guys lost it. So all of you who did not send their nocs be alert. Furthermore this is also a good news and i think that interview dates are around the corner.

Default Letter from NAB

today i received a letter from NAB, stating that my degree(Telecom engineering) do not match with the advertised qualification hence given one week to submit a certificate from my university mentioning that my degree is one of the fields of 'computer sciences'.
has anyone else facing such situation?

P.S i am a candidate for DAD.

Telecom is essentially field of Computer Science.
You must had earned more than 124 credit hours with following CS courses:
1) Programming 1+2
2) Data Structure
3) Networking & Communication
4) Computer Architecture
5) Database (Optional)
6) Operating Systems
If yes, then you are good to go.

Cool

Also an electrical telecomm engineer.......haven't received any such letter (as yet)

have studies two Computer science subjects and economics subject as well in bachelors degree...those CS subjects were worth 200 marks.......also their course codes start with CSC further clarifying that they are Computer science subjects....

i think you should write to the incompetent thick heads and explain the situation also attach their advertisement.....and your transcript showing the subjects and highlighting them....and highlighting the criteria on the advertisement which make you eligible....(at least that's what i would be doing if i do receive it).

Telecommunications is not a field of computer science and neither will any uni issue such a letter...we study these CS subjects and economics subjects as course subjects not as electives and they are part of course... We also study corporate law...so I think this needs to be clarified with NAB rather than pursuing with university.

Note: That 200 marks CS or economics subject line in advertisment made us eligible and that's why NTS didn't object.

Exclamation

Firstly NAB itself published an ambiguous advertisement in which they claimed CS as a subject.....Computer Science itself isn't a subject......it is a degree...which contains many different subjects.....People from other disciplines do study CS subjects as part of their core courses or as electives.....these courses include courses such as intro to computer programming, object oriented programming, Data Structures etc...and this makes them eligible according to this advertisement. NTS also approved of such candidates. Dont know why NAB has raised this issue again....perhaps another way to reduce the number of candidates for interview.

Nts declared Masters in commerce guys inelligible for the post of AD, they did not allow them to sit in the screening test. They can do whatever they want and it hurts the competition. Even if they have had any issues with telecom engineers, they would not have allowed them in the first place. This is no justice. Now is not the right time to screen them out. Very sad.

I have a BS(Computer Engineering) degree. And for NAB, it isn't enough.
