As far as I remember, there were 8 candidates in the final list for FATA/GB for AD, while there were 4 seats.. Now 4 of us are selected, 3 male candidates and 1 female. While 4 are on the waiting list. If you were on the waiting list, then I can already tell you that one candidate Aftab Ahmad Wazir S.O Mehtab Ahmad Wazir is not joining this job. I know him. He's a bank manager in Karachi, and has a higher pay scale already. Besides him, I myself have passed CSS written 2012. If I get allocated there, and get a good group there, I might be leaving the organization as well. And as per the rules, if someone on the merit list leaves the job within a year (that is the probation period) so people on the waiting list will be given chance..

for those who r undecided to join NAB based on the Terms & conditions in our offer letter...

firstly, the Terms and Conditions in the offer letter are all legal and do not necessarily mean that our job in NAB will discontinue abruptly unless we really screw up in our stay at NAB...

secondly, the training period for 7 to 9 months may be taken as learning phase in our professional career. in case one feels after completion of successful training period that NAB is not for them, they may quit after having to pay NAB back the expenses incurred on their training.. (training cost comes out to be about or part of 70 k per candidate for 7 months stay without the salary drawn by them. salary is usually not paid back.)

thirdly, NAB didnt provide any boarding and lodging facilities which is not a relief who will have to find a decent stay in ISB... nevertheless, the active members in this forum sound very helpful in finding a decent accommodation on sharing basis which should be utilized mutually.

next, the salary may be as per following (just an estimate)

JIOs- between 25 to 30 k

ADs - 38 to 43 k

DDs - 55 to 75 k ( depending on what their actual basic salary is in their respective departments)

in addition to the above, i think NAB may or may not reimburse a part of what will be paid by us as rent on accommodation

i have been selected as a DD.. so all in general and DDs in particular may msg me on fb for further communication...

lets all be friends for we will be spending lots of time together in a new city shaping our career in future.

I hereby undertake to serve NAB for a period of 5 yeras with effect from the date of my joining i.e.My question is what is the date of joining to be written on the bond?
