can anyone plz tell me if there are any chances of increase in the salary and if yes then by what percentage and till when. It is an important question for me as I have to decide on the basis of the answer and give a chance to someone who really deserves it. Thank you!

P.S. I am talking about the salary of an AD.

But since with the latest updates I haven't updated the sheet, so you have to change the 'Gross Amount' by two following figures:

- House Rent to House Ceiling: Expected is 12K to 15K.
- NAB Allowance 15% of Basic Salary:

So I think expected salary should be:
BPS-16 Salary + Allowances= Rs. 23,439 and 12 to 15K house Ceiling
BPS-17: Salary + Allowances= Rs. 34,481 and 12 to 15K house Ceiling
BPS-18: Salary + Allowances= Rs. 42,329 and 12 to 15K house Ceiling

- DD also told me that generally they pay house ceiling allowance separately as in form of a cheque aggregating to a 3-month rent!

BPS-17: Salary + Allowances= Rs. 34,481 and 12 to 15K house Ceiling

Additionally, after training, one can receive "Field Allowance", which is 50% of Basic Salary i.e Rs. 8000. Generally, officers who investigate the case receive this allowance.

Next, there was a recent update that Prime Minister has approved 100% increase in Basic Salary i.e Rs. 16000 for NAB employees, and I believe if Finance Ministry does not put this on hold and issues a notification then there are good chances that we may also start receiving the same during our training. Higher the Basic Salary, greater the chances of rapid increase in your salary.

My problem has been the same and looks like I'm going to lose a hefty amount but I guess I am going to join as I have had very positive feedback about this job.

Wish you all the very best.

Dear Members,

Can anyone guide from where to get medical certificate for Assistant BPS-14?

As on offer letter, Any Federal attendant is allowed to make it.

2ndly can character certificates be obtained from the AC of your region as NAB requires 2 Character certificates from 2 Officers of grade 17 or above.

Kindly name hopitals near Lahore.

Best regards,

It is informed to all the forum members that current salary of AD including all allowances (medical + conveyance + house rent + NAb allowance) is between 34,700 to 38,000.
Field Allowance is only given to those officers who will work in field (who investigate the case).
As per as 100% increase in concerend so it is informed you that the Secretary Finance has refused this option. It was clearly mentioned in various newspapers.
All this information is 100% authentic.

As far as house ceiling is concerend, it is only given when you will rent a house, othervise it will not given. In Govt. terms it is known as HIRING of HOUSE.

Brother, i think u have any misunderstanding regarding understanding the term of salary, because in the letter total (exact) salary is never mentioned. On the letter only the basic pay scale is always mentioned e.g 16000 - 1200 -40000.
u r saying it is mentioned on your letter that salary of BPS-14 is 26300 /- which is impossible.
