Yes dear. The post of deputy superintendent has been erased. now preventive officer can attain grade 18/19. the next promotion will be in grade 17.

Secondly, can a po be posted in other areas such as peshawar, torkhan, islamabad besides karachi and lahore.

so far as my knowledge goes, they are posted either in Lahore or karachi.

You are from Islamabad so I guess your interview centre would also be Islamabad. So are you done with it or still waiting?
Secondly, As no senior member is guiding us despite our several requests and queries no one is giving response except you. Therefore, you are earnestly requested to guide us. We are confused regarding field related topics.Kindly guide us what should we study like;
only job duties of appraising officer coupled with basic knowledge about FBR or we have to study laws, acts, taxation system, audit, examination, valuation methods etc?
Your valuable guidance and advice can be tremendously helpful for us.

Kindly answer my query..
I was shortlisted in a/v officer and was asked to submit computer lteracy certificate which i had submitted...
Now i have not received any call letter or sms or email regarding interview ...
I m very confused regarding this...
I m from multan centre...
Kindly help me sir..

Dear revboy, you should not be worried about interview. Focus on current affairs and the last degree you have attained. personally, i do not think they will ask in detail about fbr because you have not join it yet. But, you should have basic know how about functions of appraising officer? functions of fbr? taxes? budget? loopholes n taxation system? suggestions? panama leaks and role of fbr? etc like this. Moeover, i have qualified insp customs and will a competitor therein.

Note: knowledge about fbr is available on fbr homepage. no need to wander here and there.

pls guide me.

I am an IT graduate. I don't have any office automation certificate but FPSC is demanding one. It is pretty obvious that IT graduate knows Office pretty well.

Should I go for fake certificate? Or send me it degree as Office automation certificate.
