i m going to appear for a SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION in Special Branch (IT) on 2 Jan 2011,,, anyone, who has a experience abt the Academic test of Navy, please guide me....

IT will be easy not hard..!!
IQ test : alphabatic series.. numberic series , pictures ,
IT test: General question e.g yahoo owner name, TTL means, When XP Launched, such type of question will be in IT section..

I have applied for short service commission(IT Branch) in Navy.Pleas can u guide me regarding intelliegence and academic test.Which subjects does academic testwould include?

Azfar is an unknown quantity at this point

For finding the result of the initial test you can call the recruitment center on phone on the day result is to be announced. But the final selection is done by the Naval HQ which is after the ISSB tests.

Dear simply buy DOgar Sons book for ISSB and prepare Intelligence test in which Diagrams, series question will come. In this way your 1 portion of exam will be clear easily and try to do Intelligence part quickly because time will be short.

Second portion of test will be mcqs from your concerned branch which is engineering, there is no particular book for this. Try to find out mcqs from net and prepare general questions which is related to Engineering that will be Enough.

dear , the initial tests are pretty easy.it is not a matter of worry.the actual tests are,that are taken at issb.so just go with the normal preparation and take it easy.
