Question Weightage of Interview for final selection by any post in B-17

i want to know that interview matters to what extent for final selection for post of B-17 by FPSC,otherthat CSS.What is weightage of interview + written test towards final selection.Someone has told me that ,FPSC give 40% weightage to marks in written test and 60% to interview for final selection.

I think they have a formula; your academic performance also does matter, especially first division can be an extra edge! I guess it goes like this

Written 30%
Academic Performance 30%
Interview 40%

as per my knowledge,here goes the weightage for general recruitment

written 20%
interview 60%
academic record 20%

I don't think that Academic record matters. If you clear CSS exam (written), you've done 75% of the job. It is highly unlikely to be rejected after the interview I guess. Also, If interview has more weight even then the ac record doesn't matter. If you answer correctly what is asked in interview, you will get through easily ..
