FPSC test for lectureship...
I am looking for some guidance for up coming test of FPSC. Can any one share the details of this exams especially for statistics. From where to get the syllabus?? and does GPA or division of a candidate counts in making merit??

For Statistics
Part-I (20 marks) Vocabulary, Grammar usage, Sentence Structure. Part-II (Master’s Level) (50 marks) Measures of Central Tendency, Measures of Dispersion or Variation, Regression and Correlation, Index Numbers, Probability Theory, Probability Distributions, Presentation of Data by Frequency Distribution & Graphs, Time Series Analysis, Statistical Inference, Sampling Theory and Techniques, Analysis of Variance, Experimental Design. Part-III (30 marks) Teaching Techniques and Methodology, Classroom Management and Discipline, Testing and Evaluation, Development of Education in Pakistan. |

STATISTICS Total Marks - 100 1. Basic Probability Axiomatic definition of probability, random variable, distribution function, probability density function, mathematical expectation; conditional probability, jointly distributed random variables, marginal and conditional distributions, conditional expectation, stochastic independence. 2.
