Can't believe it. I know for a fact that 95 of my MCQs were correct and there was doubt in only 5.

Was the score out of 100 or 85? Because I was looking at previous threads made on the subject and Atif Bukhari, AD LDA, said that marks, as listed on NTS website are out of 85. Here is the exact link

Its out of 100. It is NTS score. Merit score which would be out of 85 ( 50% NTS & 35% academics) will be published soon.

Major portion is of English so you should work on your weaker area.For Maths,analytical consult GAT book.For computer portion consult any book of general knowledge having mcqs of computer.
I guess either your English portion didn't go well or maths,analytical just like me.

I do not know it for sure. I think they would consider the percentage of each matric, inter, bachelors and masters in equal proportion.

It would be confirmed when they would publish merit list. Everybody would be able to work it out.

This time I managed to score 65. I have high first divisions in all of my academics. What are of my chances of interview ???

Suppose a person having 80 percent in matric 80 percent in inter and 70 percent in masters....how his academic marks ll be calculated....

your are right.... There must be some problem there...... the merit for engineers are ok you can verify 609001-609150

i did the same 1st checked my roll no and then roll no 309103 who secured 85
both are not found

Did you apply for General Cadre? I applied for it seems that merit list for General Cadre hasnt been uploaded yet.

it would be 8 + 8 + 7 + bachelors marks

It is not the mistake you pointed out..... It is correct .... actually we have no 14 years marks so simply half the percentage of your 16 year education

I am at 4 according to your merit list........ According to my knowledge, maximum 5 will be called for the interview..... which may vary

could you please upload merit of AD general cadre

After seeing merit list of engineering,I tried to calculate my merit.Tell me is it the right way ?

SSC 10%=72/10=7.2

HSSC 10%=62/10=6.2

14 years 5 %=2.75

16 years 10%=4.62

NTS 50%=30.5

Total=51.27

Is it right calculation ? Am I eligible ? :(

you are right but as per previous year policy total candidates who will be called for interview will be three times of posts available. like for AD. its 13*3 means total 39 students will be called. now it depends upon your catagoery and your position that whether you will be called or not.
