Default Transfer between Cantt & Garrison College and Federal College
A.A
i have been selected as a lecturer under F.G. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS(CANTT/GARRISON). I wanted to know that is it possible to transfer from a Cantt college to federal area college like in islamabad?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can go there for 5 years under deputation rule civil service act 1973.

No I haven't received the appointment letter yet, just the confirmation letter that i have been selected. I am based in Rawalpindi and there is no seat available in Rawalpindi or Wah Cantt of my subject, that is why i wanted to know if it is possible to join a federal college in Islamabad or is it compulsory to join a college located in Cantt area?

Yes it is possible especially in the case of females.

In that recommendation letter it is mentioned that for further enquiry candidates should contact Ministry of Defence, Rawalpindi . So hv candidates from Rawalpindi like u contacted?

Monday 22nd October 2012, is the last date given to the appointees for joining on or before it.
