mostly the panel members adopt english as a mode of interaction wid the candidate, but it may be in urdu as well, so the answers shud b given in the same language as in which the question is being asked form u .

the Key in any interview is Confidence but not over confidence,
knowledge speak itself.. so you guys don't need to worry, just stay cool and clam ,

Language is not much issue i think , general conversation can be in urdu/English but i think you will be comfortable to answer field related questions in English ..

I appeared for interview today at fpsc Islamabad center. Following questions were asked n these are placed in order as asked:

Chairman:

General questions about my degree n studies etc . . .

1. GDP growth rate of Pakistan?
2. Dollar's difference with rupee?
3. Who won the Nobel prize from Pakistan?
4. Describe OSI reference model of seven layers?
5. What is a system software, what is its purpose?

Ministry of Defence's representative:

6. Good n bad Qualities of a teacher?
________________________________________

Subject Specialist

7. What is RAM?
8. What is Booting?
9. Can a computer boot if there exists no ram?
10. Who taught you OOP at virtual university?
11. What do you prefer, structured programming or object oriented paradigm?
12. Is Microwave oven a complete Computer system?
13. if yes then what type of computer system is it called? (it is called embedded system)
14. What is Data Communication?
15. What encoding scheme do you prefer if you want to use "Urdu" in computer system?
17. How many characters can be encoded uding ASCII
18. Can Unicode be used for encoding of Urdu characters?
