I received the consolidated advertisement 07/2011 today that's why uploaded it here. If you wish to know about the other cases, I would upload them too but as per my thinking these were the jobs many would go for. Jokes aside but the posts shall be uploaded on FPSC website by tomorrow or latest by Monday as well as advertised on Sunday in Newspapers.

Temporary vs Contractual

Temporary jobs are subject to confirmation after completion of probationary period. Whereas contractual jobs are often for specific tenor and after completion of contract period you are jobless, only in exceptional cases contracts are extended or renewed if such provision is already mentioned in your employment terms and conditions.

So don't worry about temporary jobs because temporary job is better than contractual job. It is practice in job advertisements to mention temporary status because of probationary period.

FPSC shall not deprive you from this right of appearing in both tests. For example, FPSC in 2008 conducted examination for Inspector ASF and DAD ASF on the same date. However, the time for both tests was different. For Inspector ASF the test was held on 10: 00 AM to 11:40 AM and for DAD the test was held at 02: 00 PM to 03:40 PM.

I hope this would clarify the doubt. If you are eligible to apply for both posts, I think you should go for it.

Please reply the following queries:

1. Is experience a must or just a filter. So that all candidates should not rush?
2. Will there be Medical fitness consideration. For example, Eye sight and/or impaired limbs?

Thanks.

Oh buddies, it is misconception of u ppl that is it is not permanent job. Its status as shown in ad is temporary. Keep in mind that every govt job is offered temporary initially. I am re-producing the relevant clause of offer letter.

This job is purely temporary and will continue for indefinite period.

You will be on probation period for one year thereafter, job will be surely permanent.

Sir, I am not sure about Non-Gazetted posts... But FPSC conducts tests country-wide in specific centers. You would be asked to mention the center of your choice for written examination as well as for interview.

If you dont have the experience in the specified field, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Inspector. They have specifically asked for the candidates who have atleast Two years post qualification experience in Law Enforcement Agency / Security Agency.
