In my personal opinion…Yes, females are encouraged to apply. Police department is type of service where one has to deal with blue collar crimes and low profile/street criminals, on day to day basis. Whereas in FIA, mostly you are entrusted to proceed against white collar crimes. There is diversity in nature of job in FIA, besides environment is a lot better and sensible than the police department.

Unless it is officially announced by FPSC, No one knows the syllabus but we can assess that how it would like be…

1. 20 marks of English are essentially constituent part of every paper. It is related to vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar. For this, practice the grammar rules and learn antonyms and synonyms as much as you can.

2. Remaining 80 marks could be comprised of General Intelligence i.e. current affairs, Everyday science, General knowledge, Math, Islamiat and Pakistan affairs. It is safe to assume that If not all then at least 40 marks must be allocated to all the subjects or few. So you should start working to have knowledge and grip on above mentioned subjects as they are vitally important for every competitive paper. I will advise the aspirants to go through GK book, Carvan publishers by Ch. Ahmed Najeeb. And for math… practice GRE, GMAT...

3. In case where all the remaining marks are not allocated to general intelligence… then it is probability that FIA act, Investigation chapter of CrPC and Human and trafficking act can be the ingredients of syllabus. However it is strongly advised to not be engaged with this stuff until it is confirmed by FPSC.

what do they mean by 'plus 5 years general relaxation in upper age limit' when the age limits is between 22-28. Who will get this age relaxation? please explain.

that is 22-33 years, means people upto 33 years are eligible.

Tracking ID is just used for printing your application if you want to save it for your personal record.

When a candidate applies online for any post in FPSC, the application is saved in the database of FPSC. After the closing date, the FPSC staff starts accepting the application. When the application of any candidate is accepted, a sms is sent automatically to the applicants cell number. This process takes some time depending on the number of applicants So, when the FPSC staff will accept your online application, you will get a confirmation sms. Usually FPSC accepts applications of all candidates. So, don't worry about your application and concentrate on your preparation.
