Lately we have been hearing about the 18 vacant posts of AD FIA which were to be announced by FPSC. Even the FIA website displayed the information more than 6 months ago and its still there, the last i checked. However, so far no such vacancies have been announced and the forum members too have turned silent on the AD FIA posts. While previously, some members sounded so sure and had even mentioned the date of the advertisement and the number of posts.

So what happened and why the vacancies have not yet been announced and any credible information about the announcement of AD FIA vanancies, in future.

Would appreciate any response.

I have been refreshing this forum every day for over 8 months now. All in hope that some day someone will come with news of these so-anticipated-vacancies. Alas! For even the most recent mandated deadline of 60 days is about to come to its end, and the vacancies nowhere to be seen.

Naseem! whats source of your information and plz tell if these vacancies have been cancelled or postponed or recruitment already carried out behind closed doors or filled through deputations from agriculture or education department etc.

any update regarding ad fia posts .. Is experience necessary for these posts ?

Last time during 2009, the eligibility criteria for AD FIA was as follows.

Qualification required: Second Class or Grade C Bachelor Degree.

EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in BS/Grade-11 or equivalent for Government servants or employees of Government controlled organizations in the following fields: (1) Police, (2) Accounts, (3) Central Revenue, Collecting Agencies, (4) Engineering, (5) Telegraphs and Telephones Engineering, (6) Telegraphs and Telephones Traffic, (7) Railways, (8) Railways Engineering, (9) Commerce and Trade, (10) Economics, (11) Scientific and Technical Personnel, (12) Government Controlled Corporations/ Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Bodies, (13) Postal, (14) Banking, (15) Insurance, (16) Armed Forces (Technical Personnel). OR Five years experience in non-Government or private Organizations in the following fields: (1) Clearing and forwarding, (2) Practitioners and Advisors of Income Tax, (3) Accounts, (4) Imports and Exports, (5) Insurance -General-, (6) Scientific, (7) Legal income tax.

Anybody knows about the info of expected advertisement?
