Dear IB Aspirants,

I think, paper of IB 2207 was less tough but more technical. According to my estimate. My marks will flactuate between 79 to 85. Let us hope for the best. By the grace of Allah, I am sure of my success. Can anyone estimate how long FPSC will take to announce this result.

there is no hard and fast rule in ib selection.if you got 85 to 90%,you should be hopeful for success.it's particular for those who have applied on Punjab domicile basis,other areas may not experience as tough competition as Punjab could!

well fahad bhai what i have heard from some reliable resources is that a man getting over 60 marks will be called for interview and also result will be announced with 10 to 15 days........... source A Friend who is already AD in IB

Even i called FPSC people and they told me the same 60% wala formula and they also told me that they could annouce the result even 2 days after the result but they are waiting for CSS result to be declared because lots of CSS candidates also took the same test and had they announced the IB result b4 css than those css people would have joined IB and later left it when they for their css one.

60% FORMULA FOR QUALIFYING WRITTEN EXAM
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY WHICH F.P.S.C ISSUED AT THE TIME OF WRITTEN TEST.THEY CLEARLY WROTE THAT FPSC RESERVE ALL RIGHTS TO CALL FOR INTERVIEW ONLY THOSE CANDIDATES WHO ARE AT THE TOP OF MERIT LISTIN THIS EXAM,PUNJAB RESERVES 15 SEATS+ 2 OPEN MERIT SEATS,NORMALLY 5 CANDIDATES WILL BE CALLED FOR INTERVIEW AGAINST 1 SEAT.IN PUNJAB MORE THAN 1200 CANDIDATES APPEARED IN EXAM.AMONG THESE CANDIDATES IF MORE THAN 90 CANDIDATES SCORED 85+,IN THAT CASE WHY SHOULD FPSC CALLED FOR INTERVIEW THOSE CANDIDATES WHO SCORED ONLY 60??I ALSO MADE A CALL TO FPSC 051-9205075(EXTENSION241) BUT THEY DIDN'T CONFIRM THIS FORMULA.

AGAIN CALL FPSC,YOU WILL COME TO KNOW THAT THEY WOULD NOT WAITING FOR CSS RESULT.IN FACT,LAST YEAR FPSC TOOK 2 MONTHS TO ANNOUNCE THIS RESULT.SIMPLY ALTHOUGH PAPER CONSISTED OF OMR SHEET(COMPUTERIZED CHECKING) YET FPSC HAS TO PREPARE NOT ONLY RESULT BUT ALSO IT WILL BE ISSUED AFTER APPROVAL FROM CONCERNED AUTHORITIES(CHAIR-MAN,SECRETARY).SO,HAVE PATIENCE! AND KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED IN THIS REGARD.......

well Fahad bhai you are 100 % right but bhai i dont suppose that 90 people will get over 80 %... it means 90/1200 that is approximately one in twelve.... and i dont suppose that one out of twelve can score that much..... just have in mind the percentage of those who pass css............ well what i think and know from one AD in IB........

and also Fahad bhai everybody is not genius like you who can go over 85 %.........

bhai g,jo main ne aap ko bataya ha wo mere aik dost jin k appointment 2006 main IB main hoe ha, ne bataya ha.baqi mazeed main ne federal walon se pochana munasib samjaha.aur bahi main koi intelligent hone k dawa nai kar raha,paper main mujhe us dost ne kafi help k aur ye allah k shukar ha k math k zayada question(sirf15 thi) na ae warna kitne marks aate,allah behtar janta ha.mcq paper tha,es liye check kar k internet se aur helping books se h mujhe pata chala.rahe baat k main ne answers keun nai display kiye,tu mere bhai aap doston ne mujh se pahle sbqat hasal ki aur tamam question paper lekh diya(ye bara extra-ordinary aur zabardast kaam tah aap k,es silslah main mere taraf se aap logon k shukariya aur mubarik baad),ab jis ko koi confusion ha,wo net k search web se apne answers dekh sakta ha.aur main ne ye kaha ha k mere 85 marks tk ain ge,ye nai pata k selection hote ha ya nai.waise bi mera believe ha k job sirf us ko milte ha,jis k muqadar hu.
