I have joined NHMP a few days back, and I have my interview on 24th May. Do I need to show this new development in the form of NOC or something or is it unnecessary?

You have to get NOC from this department if you want to switch to the next department through proper channel. If you would prefer to resign from NH&MP then you need not get NOC neither should you mention this development in interview.
