Here is a short experience shared by a person who had interview yesterday. I got it from a third person so only this short information could be got.
I am quoting the words of the person who texted me.
Panel consisted of three members. Two were from FPSC who were Ahmed Farooq Sahb and Aziz Ahmed Bilour Sahb. The third member may be from the department.
10 mint ka interview tha... Based on history and pol science. ( The person had Masters in Political Science ). Whole of the interview revolved round political science and history, therefore. The remaining questons were like this ,
Difference between communism and socialism.
Difference between government systems in china, ussr, uk and usa.
Why do u want to join federal govt organisation.
Marx ki book ka kia naam tha.
War of palassi kub hui thi.
Who was the founder of mughal empire.
That's what's the gist of whole interview which lasted for almost 10 minutes.

I also appeared before panel on April 26, 2016. First the Honorable chairman admonished me about my appearance on the occasion and realized that your name will be published in the Gazette of Pakistan if you get selected. Then he started proper interview and asked numerous Islamic history questions. Umayyad and Abbasids Caliphs, Spain & Sub-continent Conquerors, governors, , Slave dynasty, one minute speech on comparison between Islam, Christianity and Judasim. etc

Then the other Respectable member asked my opinion about the ISIS and the biggest problem of pakistan. then he asked couple of more questions.

The third hon'ble member asked questions about ottoman sultanate and in the end asked a question of physics.


This was my first experience and i was not expecting it so, as i did. I took a lot of time to give answers because English was the medium of communication.

What were you wearing that Chairman Didn't Like?

The members were Mr. Aziz Ahmad Bilor, Mr. Ahmad Farooq, and If I am not wrong the third one's name is Mr. Auragnzeb Haq.

The Interview depends on how your psychological Went. If you have a negative report then your interview will last hardly 10 minutes and If you have shown yourself as a serious contender in psychological assessment then they will grill you for 20-25 minutes.

I was nervous at first but The Atmosphere of the interview was very friendly. They have in front of them your file and the psychometric reports in which many sections are highlighted.

My Interview lasted for less than 10 minutes and very simple questions were asked like :

How to end terrorism?
Who is president of Pakistan?
Why are you joining?
What is CPEC?
What is APS?

In the End, they said Thank You.

I think my psychological report was not satisfactory that is why they were just passing. Few candidates got their interview for a long duration. They are skilled officials and know who to select so even if I am not selected I will not regret knowing that only best would be selected.

Atleast they assessed me in every possible way and If they have judged me not fit for the Job then I must try for something else.

@JustSid did they ask for original T.R in documents? as for as i remember i had one copy and submitted that at time of written test. have no other and it has been mentioned in interview letter to bring T.R.

No. They might ask for missing documents if any. But no slip is required.
