Interview on 30 May 2013

Penal comprised of three members including a representative from the concerned institution.

First member:
  • Tell us the meaning of your name.
  • This is a brief introduction about you, now tell us in detail about yourself we want to know more
  • Your field of study does not match the position you have applied for how can you justify that?
  • Why IB?
  • What is the malign of Pakistani nation
  • What do you actually mean by governance issue?
Second member:
  • You have completed degree in 2010 what have been you doing since then?
  • We know you belong to Punjab but from where?
  • Your field of study doesn't match the post why should we give you job. Justify that?

Third member:
  • What do you know about IB?
  • Who is the head of IB?
  • Where is the headquarter of IB?
  • What is the function of IB?
  • Who is the head of Iran?
  • Who is the PM of Iran?
  • What is the form of government in Iran?
  • What is the parliament of Iran called?
Then they said Thank you!
It lasted for almost 20 minutes or a little more.
Some questions might be missing as everyone doesn't remember all the questions

The interview was simple...Can you share the answer to the question that your field of study doesn't match the post why should we select you?

Thanks for sharing.It means no question from general knowledge,history or islamiat?And from your field of study?..Also issues like terrorism ,election,taliban not discussed?

Dear why they asked you these questions? do they match with your academic background I mean your last degree or these questions fall under general knowledge/current affair sections ? kindly elaborate

I said there is tough situation regarding jobs we all know that, I was fed of favouritism and nepotism everywhere so I wanted to apply for job in a prestigious organization where I could get job on merit. As far as my field of study is linked I cannot justify the link between the two because there is absolutely no link between the two.

It all depends on interview, you know it doesn't have a specific direction. I heard they asked someone about Foreign Policy, one was asked about his previous job and why he wants to switch off, he was asked about FATA too. I talked about terrorism and general issues in answers to different questions. Let others share their experiences you will come to know about the diversified issues discussed.
