Am i eligible to apply for AD post in IB as i have done 3 year bachelors engineering hons degree from UK and before that i did one year foundation degree in uk to get myself eligible for enrollment into the 3 year programe and before that i did fsc pre engineering..
Am i eligible when the posts come in 2014

if your study period is 16 years then you are eligbl but as per your post you said you studied 3 years after FSC then your education is 15years so you cannot apply for IB AD:S..............

Brother first of all my degree is bachelors but its equivallent to masters of pakistan according to hec, also i want to ask that i studied one foundation year too meaning i studied 16 years education.. i just wana ask that does that foundation year count aswell as it was in uk too before the 3 year degree

If hec gives you equivalence certificate ie if hec considers your degree equal to 16 years of schooling then you are eligible.

If you have done Foundation year in UK and have 3 years BEng degree from UK then HEC will give you 16 years equivalency and PEC will also get you registered. No worries mate, I am also like you. By the way.. if I may ask, why didn't you go for an engineering job in UK? Do you regret coming back sometimes?

Bro i regret being born now a days,, at this time there are like 5 things going on in my head
apply for immigration to canada,
apply for immigration to australia
take css 2015 exams as it was the wish of my late dad who was SP police and then director Ib and he got to this position from the position of constable even though he studied in village compared to me who failed css 2012 just because of english essay even though i lived in UK for 8 years appx.
apply for pms 2014 but cant seem to understand whether i have to take all subjects in the exam or some specific subjects as mentioned in relation to the posts like assistant director legals etc

at the moment i have got till december and i have to do all these and the reason why i asked for ad IB was coz i was interested in that too

You should try your luck in CSS with full preparation and devotion, you can do it . I believe you can do brother , you should try to make the dream of your father come true

you made my hope with mentioning that your abba was IB director and he was constable at start......coz i am also newly appointed in IB as a Constable:S.but i dont like it as a Constable coz i done my BS(BA)

Brother those times were better times my father use to tell me that i those times when you use to do some really good work you use to get promoted not like these days where you get a medal or treat of some sort and thats it.

Also my dad was constable in police and joined back in 60s or 70s and then in 1998 he was SP but my father n family were supporters of ppp so nawaz sharif got my father suspended for nearly 11 years as my father service was gonna end in 2010, but to our surprize when ppp came in 2008(i hate ppp now) they hired my dad as director in IB. So my father stayed as director for 1 year.
But the thing why i am so impressed is if he had continued service for 11 years he might have gone to ssp and he started as constable.

Now i just wana fulfil his dream because he only use to sit with csp officers like shoaib suddle, Shigri etc and he wanted me to do it for him. Lets c what happensss ,, good luck to all of u brothersss

C'mon bro.. Dont think like that (Even though I have bouts of depression but what can you do.. just do your best and plan well).. I left UK to come back and give css exams or apply for IB etc.. If it doesn't work out (God Forbid) then I have other plans and even if they don't work out and I am not able to adjust well over here.. I can go abroad again or do something else.. So I would advise you to focus on CSS or IB/FIA etc and avail your chances before you are too old. The other things can be done anytime.. I am impressed that your dad achieved a good level in his career from humble beginnings (It is commendable) and I am sure you will do well in the upcoming exams.. But I am a bit concerned that why did you fail in English despite spending 8 years in UK.. Abhi tak to aap gora ban chukay hotay lol.. Maybe our English standards are much better than the English lol.. Last time AD IB posts were announced in January 2013. I hope they announce them soon in this year.
