@Divergent

Hey there. I know it sounds silly but have to ask this; is there any dress code for psychometric test (if there would be a one-to-one contact with panel)? I mean one must be wearing proper formal dress or semi-formal/casual dressing is okay?

No dress code, don't overdo it guys! Although you should be well dressed. Whatever you wear, shall be tidy and properly pressed.

A Partially silly and partially legitimate question. No offence, kidding

A part of your question has already been answered. There wouldn't be any Interview panel, because the purpose of interview by psychologists... is to verify your personality, that you described through the assessment tests. it is impossible to assess and then interview a large number of candidates in just a single day. So I don't think that it is the time to follow formal dress code at this stage, However, one should be dressed properly (type of semi-formal too), even if it is not a special event... and could help you in case of unexpected occurrence.

Regards

I have cousins in MoD one is Bps 16 Insp and the other is AD, according to them that MoD jobs are just an illusion , it looks awesome from outside but when you when you get into it then you will realize that how a hell place , no respect inside the organization for civilians whether officers or lower... bcz the main hold is in the hands of Army , they lead you and force you all the time... always remember one thing that "to stay and work in an organization where army is holding, its an unbearable job " . acc to them that perks are none but humiliations are obvious, 17 post is good but still they will always be under the command of army till his retirement .... Rest good luck for the interview

Okay, so your comment made me seriously gloomy. Not that I was expecting a shiny job on a silver platter, it is just that I believed that an Officer level position at MoD wouldn't be as bad for a civilian to thrive in, as is the case with some other Army lead organizations. If things are so bad out there, why are people swarming in for these positions? I mean there were around 96k applicants for MoD positions last year. No?

P.S. I am new here!
