I have qualified written test for the post of Traffic Analyst BPS.14. As many departments i.e PIA, ISI, MI etc come under ministry of defence. Does anyone know that to what department does this job belong? What are the job descriptions of this post? Waiting for your cooperative response.

I believe you might be able to shed some light on my query.
Since many candidates on this forum claims that they have done their tests of MoD AD and staff grade to the best of their ability, yet they have been declared failed by NTS.

Is there any possibility that NTS's Data entry operator made error in entering the wrong name in the wrong category ( I mean name of passed candidates into the failed category) or could it be possible that NTS's candidates data base been malfunction etc????


Or the third option that MoD have raised the bar/merit for passing the relevant tests and candidates been optimistic on the basis of their previous successful attempts??

I am sure your detailed reply would be suffice for those candidates to get enlighten in this regard. Your reply would also help the rumors to vanish regarding credibility of NTS etc.

Some people claim (though not sure about it ) that MCQs always gets checked by NTS whereas descriptive papers gets checked by MoD directly, and the final merit/result get shape on the basis of both results etc.

I am sure you will spare you precious time to answer these queries for the present and future reference of dedicated aspirants, and this would also mitigate the feeling of dejection among failed candidates. Thank a lot in advance

Grade 16 Job, mostly you have a desk job (with a Computer), Salary is around 40k+
You get a suitable residence, with a good working environment with a prestige to work with one of the finest Org of Country, what else you need?

MoD has its own merit, people have done best or worst does not matter, if they are on specific merit set by MoD, they are passed, that's it.

2nd: Mistake by DEO is possible, but that would be a rare case!

3rd: Surely MCQ's and the SEQ's both have their importance, that is why 30 marks are dedicated for SEQ part in Staff Cadre Exam!

If merit is 70% and your all MCQ are correct i.e 70 MCQ's. you are pass, that's it, no matter you score 30/30 or 0/30 in SEQ.

PS: It's all my personal opinion.

I passed the test and Appeared in the Psychometric Test and still waiting for the results.


When will the results be announced and what will be the next steps?
