Well may be! It could be the reason. Can't rule it out.

As per the update, candidates who are not planning to join MOD did not send the SVA forms back. They've been called and asked to return the SVA's along with the initiation letters to the address.

I leave the rest to you people for interpretation but that's what I heard. Also there have been some rumors again that someone faced a home visit for sec. clearance, but unless other candidates from the given area confirm it, nothing can be said for sure.

Yeah it's right. I know the persons who have recieved the call and advised by MoD, to send back the SVA along with unwillingness to join.

And whats your opinion on this, do you think its because they want to finalize list and send forms to the reserved instead before initiating regular sec check?

IMO, I think that they are done with categorization of the forms as per cadre and most probably they will dispatch the same to respective cities, to initiate process of security clearance. they asked for unwillingness too, it implies that the SVA were sent to selected candidates only (although I got update of reassurance recently). Now the left over forms will be sent to reserved candidates and it is unlikely to halt the process of security clearance for reserved candidates as it will take another 15 to 20 days. Last time it was observed that those candidates whose security clearance were delayed due any reason, were not called for joining at first. later, in December, another batch of few were called for joining purpose.

Joining will be done randomly as far as training is concerned it will b batchwise so we can't say anything final

SUMAMEEN it means no resevered cases uptill now. ?? I mean they still have hope??

If I understand correctly, you mean to say that there will be a certain lag between joining and the training period. And the joining will be on individual basis.

I know this is only your opinion and I am treating it as such - just needed a clarification.
