Story starts in 2012, i was strongly recommended for PAF aeronautical, Pak Navy and Pak Army ... i joined PMA kakul and started training, right before 2 months of passing out parade i started having medical issues in my chest and admitted in cmh ABT then MH pindi, i remained there for next 6 months .. in short i was medicaly boarded out from Pak Army on medical grounds of chest, it was not ended there ... after MBO i filled a case against medical board in GHQ that i didnt deserve to be MBO from Army as i was having temporary problem, GHQ called me and offer a job in isi as a inspector according to my qualification, i responded postive and after few months of procedures i have been called for training for 6 months in islamabad then they posted me in field intelligence,
Problem is i am not satisfy with this appointment, its been 6 months i am performing my duties and i am thinking to give resignation... is this a good job? Should i give resignation or not ?? Because some times i feel anxious that this is not the place i deservto be amd in the same time i know this is only last thing i have , even i am not qualified enough for any other pvt jobs..
Please help me and advice me, i am mentally disturbed.
Regards
Let's rationalise the situation. You are having a job. The problem is of prestige for you, as you were to be an officer. Job market on Pakistan has shrinked a lot. Let's say engineers and doctors have to do a lot to acquire a job.
In your case, you just need 2 more years "just two more years brother!" and applying for private masters is not a big deal. The best option you have is to increase your education, do masters and apply for AD job( because you know it best) or any other job. As far as capabilities are concerned, they are just a frame of mind; you can do anything! Just focus on your goal and aim for it, rest is all secondary.

Secondly i always have this feelings that i dont deserve this position..i can work way better then them .. i have good life style to wear to live, you know and in the same time every one getting the same tasks, same targets .. what the fish ..
I just have a BA degree and let me tell you i dont have sound financial background.. i also have to support my family .. this is the main reason iam still sticky here ither wise .. i was gone before

Dear, i have motivation, that is why i went to PMA cleared issb and all that... then joined this services... one can not only be tired because he lack's of motivation but other reasons too... the inspectors have the same role which the army havaldars are doing .. they measure you in the scale with havaldars and even sepoys... you have to work with them, live with them ... this is unfair
And secondly i dont have field job only.. i have desk, i have many other things to do...
No i am not financially stable and can not start business..
My job doesn't have any serious threats... seriously
May be i am not feeling comfortable here because this is my first posting..
But again i say everything is bearable but to work and live with sepoys and havaldars ???? Is this inspector level deserve??
Yeah .. i have a chance if that i can appear of AD but again i have to increase my qualifications and then to pass that tough AD exams and i know i aam not capable enough to pass that exam... yeahh if theey give me chance even 10 times i can recommend the issb I can train people for issb as i have a best technique, and mythology and i taught few of my frnds and they sale through, but that is now useless for me seriously..

captainx I think you should try rangers. You can easily get in the

officer position there. It will be similar to army. After getting

masters you can again join ISI as AD

I have some questions:
1.Can you tell what kind of training you got in ISI?Nothing specific

needed.Because 6 months training is too little time to turn anyone

into capable Intelligence official.

2.Did training consisted of any spy-craft skill or just the basic

weapons fighting training like basic infantry course for soldiers?

3.As you said you are working in ISI for 6 months, can you tell me what

is like to work in ISI as AD as civilian.

4.Do A.D do operations?

Number 1, the details of training can not ne disclosed here because this is a public forum, main focus of the training is to tell you how you need to operate, the discipline of intelligence and safety, security, etc .. in 6 months you just need to study all the time and perform practical what they taught you... mainly for intelligence one need to spend time and with the passage of time one learns to operate as a intelligence operatar, and again in services there are many other courses which one need to fulfill,

Number 2, just the basic, no there is basic infantry course however you will be taught how to operate weapons atleast..

Number 3, the AD job is different in different scenarios, its upto the place of your posting, mainly their duties is to sit and analyse the reports send by operators..,

Numner 4 , yes they do operations in team
