Sir ap ki bat me dum hai, lekin screening MoD totally different CSS or PMS se. In MoD, speedy & accumulated with token type questions can pass only unlike in-depth akin to CSS & PMS knowlwdge

Default List of rejected candidates!
Ok need your help people. Just checked this (List of Rejected Candidates)
(Who Provisionally Appeared in the Test) section today and my name appears with the reason '2nd Division MA/Msc OR Equivalent Required' - but I have a 2 Year MPhil from Oxford of which I sent them a copy ofc! If that is not an equivalent MA/MSc then I dont know what is!

Before phoning them tomorrow, can anybody confirm that I am in fact sane and NTS has made a horrible mistake here?!

Had you not received NTS sms? Perhaps they had sent an sms to all rejected candidates on Thursday 16 March, 2017 and time to submit query form proving eligibility was up to 20 March 2017 (1500hrs).

NTS has not made any mistake. They strictly go by book. If you ahve M.Phil, then they need an Equivalency Certificate from HEC mentioning clearly that your degree is equivalent to any one mentioned in advertisement. If you are not in possession of any such document, then consider yourself candidature in trouble.

No, I didn't get any SMS or I would have checked immediately.

They never asked me for an equivalency! And if they have released this list on the 16th, then how am I supposed to get an equivalency cert. by Monday the 20th! This is beyond ridiculous. No communication. And how can anyone say that a 2 year MPhil is NOT equivalent to an MSc/MA. There is going by the book and then there is sheer mindless robotic subservience to procedure at the cost of substance.

I leave lucrative jobs in the private sector abroad to help my country and its people and they throw this rubbish technicality on my face? And then who is the impediment to progress when idiocy like this occurs? No sir, this is their mistake, and if they do not rectify it, I will take them to court. I will not take this lying down.
